Jakarta, November 28th, 2022 - In order to increase research and licensing, PT Kimia Farma Tbk has confirmed steps to cooperate with Sinopharm International. The collaboration of the parties was manifested in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by hybrid at the Kimia Farma Head Office. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of BUMN I, Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesian Ambassador to China, President Director of PT Biofarma (Persero) Pharmaceutical Holding, Chairman and President of Sinopharm Group and Sinopharm International and the Board of Directors of Kimia Farma.
Previously Kimia Farma and Sinopharm Group had collaborated in providing the Covid-19 vaccine. Subsequent collaboration was realized through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, so that Kimia Farma and Sinopharm International agreed to strengthen cooperation including import-export, production, distribution and other cooperation as agreed by the parties.
