Jakarta, March 9th, 2023 - PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) won 2 awards at the same time at the BUMN Corporate Communications and Sustainability Summit (BCOMSS) 2023 which was organized by the Ministry of BUMN. The award was won with Silver Predicate (2nd Place) in the category of Sustainability - Community Involvement and Development (CID) Education through the Kimia Farma Great Generation Program and Silver Predicate (2nd Place) in the category of Sustainability - Community Involvement and Development (CID) Health through the Kimia Farma Floating Clinic.
Both programs are part of Kimia Farma's Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) in supporting the Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). The acceptance of the award was represented by Mr. David Utama as the Main Director and Gan Winarno as the General Manager Corporate Secretary of Kimia Farma who were handed over directly by the Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir.
The BCOMSS activity is an appreciation from the Ministry of BUMN for the continuous communication and TJSL performance of all state-owned companies, so that it becomes a relevant standard and benchmark for all BUMN, including its subsidiaries.
The process of receiving the award has gone through the judging stage where the jury team involved, among others, for the Communication category by Maudy Ayunda (academic & artist) and Reisa Brotoasmoro (Communication Practitioner), while the Sustainability category by Andy F Noya (Senior Journalist) and Juniati Gunawan (Director of CECT Trisakti), as well as an internal jury from the Ministry of BUMN including an assessment by the Minister of BUMN.
The hope is that Kimia Farma can continue to provide sustainable benefits to the community through corporate communication performance and the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program.
