The management of the company based on the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) basically can be a means to achieve the vision, mission and objectives of the company better. Implementation of GCG consistently is a requirement that must be implemented by any company in recent times due to the application of GCG is not only seen as a form of mere compliance, but also something that the company needs to achieve quality growth and sustainable. One example of GCG implementation that must be supported is a violation reporting system, or better known as the whistleblowing system.
Whistleblowing system is one form of the development of GCG implementation in the world. However, there are still many Indonesian people who do not understand and grasp on the application of this system whistleblowing. In fact, there are still many people who do not know anything about the whistleblowing system. In fact, the role of whistleblowing system large enough to eradicate corrupt practices, unlawful behavior, or unethical practices in the company. Thus, the need for support and better socialization concerning the application of the whistleblowing system, so that the people of Indonesia can better governance contribute to creating a better company.
According to the NCG (National Committee on Governance), violation reporting (whistleblowing) is disclosure violations or disclosure act unlawful, unethical / immoral or other acts that can harm the organization and stakeholders, committed by employees or the head of the organization to leadership of the organization or other institution can take action on such violations. The disclosure of these offenses is generally carried out in secret by a person known as "whistleblower." A whistleblower may come from internal and external parties. Examples whistleblower derived from internal party are employees who report violations within the company where he works. Meanwhile, examples of whistleblower coming from external parties are customers, suppliers, community, and other external parties. However, the role of a person to be a whistleblower is not easy.
