PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari (PT SIL) was founded on October 25 1986 which is a manufacturing industry that produces quinine salt and its derivatives (9 types of quinine salt derivatives, quinine Hcl, quinine bisulfate) and essential oils such as patchouli oil, clove oil, citronella oil, fresh ginger oil, nutmeg oil, vetiver oil) to meet the needs of many industries, especially the pharmaceutical, beverage, cosmetics and chemical industries, which are exported to various countries such as the European Continent, China, America, Australia, India and others. In 2021 PT SIL will diversify its business by producing retail products with natural essential oil-based main ingredients under the Selensia brand. Selensia itself is an abbreviation of the Latin Essential Olentia Indonesia, which means genuine essential oil from Indonesia.
The composition of shareholders is 51% owned by PT Kimia Farma Tbk and 49% owned by PTPN I.
