Trade and Distribution Service
As supplier of Distribution Service, KFTD distributes various products of the holding company, products from other principals, and non-principal products. KFTD distributes these products through regular sale to the Pharmacies (Kimia Farma Apotek and non-Kimia Farma Pharmacies), Hospitals, Drugstores, Supermarkets, Restaurants, and Cafés.
In Trade or Trading Service, KFTD serves and helps the government programs to meet the people’s need of medicines in the entire territory of Indonesia, for example the Ministry of Health, Health Offices, BKKBN, and so on.
In maintaining the quality of whole service and smooth operations, PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution is enforced with an 23,515 m2 professionally-managed warehousing facility. The warehouse is also equipped with equipment which supports the work effectiveness and efficiency. Transport fleet integrated with the information system also constitutes an important part in supporting smooth activities carried out by KFTD. Currently, the record shows that more than 477 box trucks and 292 box motorcycles are ready to distribute products entrusted to KFTD.
To give professional and better service, KFTD keeps on developing the company’s Information Technology System which can serve the demands of Trading and Distribution services from across Indonesia. Fast and appropriate delivery service in accordance with the CDOB or Good Distribution Method standards in accordance with the National Agency for Food & Drugs Control provisions and guarantee and claim service on products entrusted by the principals.

PT Kimia Farma Apotek (KFA) is a subsidiary of the Company incorporated by virtue of a deed of incorporation No. 6 dated 4 January 2003 drawn up before Notary Ms. Imas Fatimah, S.H. in Jakarta and already amended by a deed No. 42 dated 22 April 2003 drawn up before notary Nila Noordjasmani Soeyasa Besar, S.H. This deed has been approved by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia in a
Letter of Decision No: C-09648 HT.01.01. TH.2003 dated 1 May 2003.
Since 2011, KFA has done a transformation program and change the vision of the company's from retail network pharmacy to the leading health service network and able to provide solutions to public health in Indonesia. In 2012 KFA has done several things to implement the vision by developing clinic services and improve pharmacy, clinic, clinic laboratory and optics.services.
In accordance with the articles of association, the purpose and objective of KFA is managing pharmacy, cliinic, clinic laboratory, optics and other health services. At the end of 2012, the number of KFA outlet are 412 pharmacy, 64 health clinics and 33 clinic laboratories. Retail pharmacy is the biggest source of revenue.
KFA provides integrated health services including pharmacy services, health clinics, clinics laboratory and optic, with the concept of One Stop Health Care Solution (OSHcS) to facilitate public get high quality health services. Pharmaceutical services using standard Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) which is an international standard published by The International Pharmaceutical Federation as well as the standards set forth by the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia concerning pharmaceutical standard service at the pharmacy.
While, the clinic service uses the standard from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the Clinic and the Clinic Laboratory services have to useg standard Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and the principles of accreditation of Health Laboratory Accreditation Committee of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia
PT KIMIA FARMA DIAGNOSTIKA
PT Kimia Farma Diagnostika (KFD), is a subsidiary of the KFA was established since 2008 and began operating independently in early 2010. The scope of business includes clinic laboratory management and development with a vision to be the best laboratory services networking company in Indonesia to support a more healthy life.
When delivering services, KFD refers to the standard Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and applies the principles of Health Laboratory Accreditation Committee Acreditas (KALK) the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia. KFD currently has 33 branches in several cities in Indonesia, supported by a competent 206 employees KFD customers comprises the general patient, patient with reference from physicians, patient originating from other institutions and companies carrying out Medical Check Up (MCU) for its employees.
PT SINKONA INDONESIA LESTARI
PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari (SIL) stands in the green area of tea plantations of PTPN VIII at Ciater Subang Regency, West Java. The company is engaged in the field of industrial quinine salts and its derivation, inaugurated by the Minister of Agriculture and Minister of Health Republic Indonesia on August 31, 1991. Shares of SIL is currently owned by three shareholders namely PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk, PTP Nusantara VIII (Persero) and Yayasan Kartika Eka Paksi, where PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk is the majority shareholder with a 56% stake.
Of its product almost 100 percent exported abroad, so as to compete in the global market, since 1996 SIL implemented SMM ISO 9002: 1994 and in 1999 implemented SML ISO 14001: 1996 of PT SGS Indonesia. In 2012 SIL implemented the Food Safety System Certification 22000: 2009 of PT SAI Global Indonesia. Furthermore the certification of management systems are updated to SMM and now become ISO 9001: 2008 and SML ISO 14001: 2004. In addition to the certificate management system, SIL gets GMP certificate from the National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Halal certificate from MUI and Kosher from the London Beth Din
The products consist of: quinine sulphate, quinine hydrochloride, quinine di hydrochloride, qunine base anhydrous, quinine bisulphate, quinidine sulphate, quinidine base, chinchonine, chinchonidine. SIL products seized at least about 25% quinine salt need of the world and the SILis the second largest manufacturer in the world. In 2012, the volume of SIL products amounted to 45.5% absorbed by Asia, 36.2% Europe, 14,8% America, 1.8% Australia and 1.8% Africa. Along with the acquisition of SIL by the Company, starting in 2012 its installed capacity be increased to 150 tonnes.
To increase the capacity, the Company needs to anticipate the environmental impact, so as a form of responsibility of the environment, SIL develops study to utilize dregs of the production become organic fertilizers, briquette and utilize dregs pile area become vegetables garden.
KIMIA FARMA SUNGWUN PHARMACOPIA
PT Kimia Farma Sungwun Pharmacopia (KFSP) was established on January 25, 2016 and is the first pharmaceutical raw materials plant in Indonesia. Scheme is a collaboration with a joint venture between PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk and PT Sungwun Pharmacopia Indonesia as a representative of Sungwun Pharmacopia Co. Ltd. of South Korea. The composition is 75% shareholder of PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk and 25% Sungwun Pharmacopia Co Ltd
