PT Kimia Farma Tbk, as part of the state-owned pharmaceutical holding company PT Bio Farma (Persero), supports the establishment of the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative (KDMP). Kimia Farma is ready to strengthen KDMP's operations by providing medicines and healthcare services. KDMP's presence is expected to benefit communities in accessing healthcare services throughout Indonesia.
KDMP is a major government initiative to build a cooperative-based village economic ecosystem through concrete and sustainable cross-sector synergy. Therefore, the Kimia Farma Group is ready to implement the President's directive to provide medicines and healthcare services to the community through KDMP, reflecting the Company's role in supporting the national health program.
In addition to providing pharmaceutical products, its subsidiary, PT Kimia Farma Apotek, also provides mentoring to the Merah Putih Village Pharmacy, one of KDMP's business units. Kimia Farma's support for the Merah Putih Village Pharmacy represents a concrete contribution to strengthening public health services while empowering the village economy.
This program is implemented through a partnership mechanism between KDMP, the pharmacy's operational manager, and PT Kimia Farma Apotek, the product provider and service quality standard provider. All transactions are conducted through the PADI UMKM digital platform and the QRIS payment system.
Currently, Kimia Farma Apotek provides support and supplies medicines to 93 KDMPs across Indonesia. This number will continue to grow as more KDMPs become operational.
