In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk (“Company”) together with its subsidiaries once again implemented the Kimia Farma 2026 Blessed Sacrifice Program as a form of implementation of the company's Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) as well as a manifestation of the company's commitment to strengthening social awareness and sharing benefits with the community. In the Kimia Farma 2026 Blessed Sacrifice program, the company distributed sacrificial meat to communities around the Kimia Farma Group operational areas. The distribution of aid was carried out in a coordinated manner with stakeholders and local officials to ensure that distribution was orderly, safe, and on target. Through this program, a total of 14 cows and 15 goats/sheep were distributed to various operational areas, including factory facilities located in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, and Watudakon Jombang. This program was implemented collaboratively with Kimia Farma Group subsidiaries, including PT Kimia Farma Apotek (KFA), PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD), PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA), PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari (SIL), and PT Kimia Farma Sungwun Pharmacopia (KFSP).
For this Qurbani event, Kimia Farma Group distributed over 3,000 packages of meat to communities around Kimia Farma Group's operational areas. Qurbani distribution also reached Eastern Indonesia, particularly the Ternate Islands, through KFA's assistance, which distributed one sacrificial cow to several areas in the Ternate Islands. This activity demonstrates Kimia Farma Group's commitment to continue being present and providing benefits to communities across Indonesia, including eastern Indonesia. "We are very grateful for Kimia Farma's distribution of Qurbani meat packages to the residents of Kampung Lio. We wish Kimia Farma continued success," said Mr. Andi, one of the neighborhood association (RT) heads in Kampung Lio, Pulo Gadung. All sacrificial animals distributed have undergone health and suitability checks in accordance with Islamic law to ensure animal quality and food safety for the beneficiaries. The program also prioritizes hygiene, safety, and environmental sustainability throughout the program.
The Kimia Farma 2026 Blessed Sacrifice Program is part of the company's CSR (Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility) implementation, which aligns with the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG point 2, which concerns Zero Hunger, and SDG point 3, which concerns Good Health and Well-Being. Through this Eid al-Adha, the Company hopes to continue strengthening harmonious relationships with the community while also promoting values โโof togetherness and social awareness in the communities surrounding its operational areas. This program also represents Kimia Farma Group's commitment to supporting sustainable development and strengthening the company's contribution to improving public health quality to support national health resilience.
