KIMIA FARMA AND AHS ACCELERATE DOWNSTREAMING OF PRODUCTS

Jakarta, January 9th, 2022 - In supporting the acceleration of products' downstreaming up to the market, PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) synergize with PT Ainul Hayat Sejahtera (AHS) that was manifested through the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between two parties, on 6 January 2023, at PT Kimia Farma Tbk Head Office, Jakarta.

The signing was attended by the President Director of KAEF, Mr. David Utama and Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Tamaris Group, Mr. Mohammad Syahrial as the attorney of AHS and Board of Director. With this signing, KAEF and AHS agreed on the support of pharmaceutical salt supply fulfillment. AHS is a company that moves in the field of sea water extraction, production and processing of non-pharmaceutical salt that can be processed to fulfill the demand of the pharmaceutical industry.

"One of the biggest demands for industrial salt in Indonesia is to be used for pharmaceutical fields which are largely obtained through import. Kimia Farma supports national independence and therefore not depending on imports, with the cooperation with PT Ainul Hayat Sejahtera (AHS) that produces and processes non-pharmaceutical salts that can be processed to fulfill the demand of the pharmaceutical industry.
