KIMIA FARMA COMMITMENT TO ELIMINATE EXTREME POVERTY

Bandung, October 22nd, 2022 - There has been a Kick Off of a BUMN collaboration project titled "Desa Sejahtera" which was held at the Cimenyan Village, Kab. Bandung. The Ministry of SOEs collaborated with 17 SOEs to collaborate in the "Desa Sejahtera" program. The series of activities in this program are Prosperous Posyandu, Clean and Prosperous, Bright and Prosperous and UMK Prosperous.

Also present, Tedi Bharata as Deputy of HR and IT of the Ministry of SOEs. In his speech, Tedi said that SOEs would continue to contribute in carrying out community and environmental welfare programs, in order to create collaboration and synergy in building village health and welfare.

In its implementation, Kimia Farma collaborates with Biofarma and Adhi Karya in Posyandu Sejahtera activities with the agenda in the form of free health checks and health services using mobile ambulances by KAI, provision of medical equipment and medical support assistance by PLN, as well as additional feeding activities (PMT) for children and toddlers.

In this case, Kimia Farma contributes in providing vitamins, socializing the importance of stunting prevention by Dr. Alita Agustina, M.Kes from Kimia Farma Diagnostik Bandung to 50 Posyandu cadres and free health screening. As one of the company's priority pillars, Kimia Farma is committed to being able to improve the health status of the community which is of course in accordance with the SDGs targets.

It is hoped that the "Desa Sejahtera" program can improve welfare, create a decent life and solve the problem of extreme poverty for the Indonesian people.
