Jakarta, March 9th, 2022 - PT Kimia Farma Tbk attented the "Indonesia CSR Excellence Award 2022" as the recipient of the award. This is not the first time that PT Kimia Farma Tbk has received as CSR award. The award, which was held at the Puri Ratna Ballroom - Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta is an annual assessment and award activity for companies that are considered to have implemented the best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs in Indonesia.
From 19 categories, PT Kimia Farma Tbk brought three categories at once including: 1. Best CSR in MSE (UMK) Program; 2. Excellence Initiative and Innovative in Community Health or Safety Program; 3. The Most Excellence CSR Company 2022. The award was received by the General Manager of General Affairs & Information Technology, M. Rony Hidayat. Not only the company, but the President Director of PT Kimia Farma Tbk, Verdi Budidarmo also received the "The Best Leadership Focus on CSR Program" award in the Individual Winner category.
ICEA 2022 carries the theme "CSR Program to Encourage Transformation Towards to Digital Society in the Development of Economic and Environmental Growth as well as a Sustainable MSME sector in The Pandemic Era" namely, towards digitizing CSR programs for sustainable economic, environmental and MSME growth in Indonesia pandemic era.
Many other companies participated from various sectors including Banking, Construction, Telecommunications, Mining and others. This prestigious award was participated by more than 200 BUMN, BUMD, National and Multinational Private Companies. Then selected to be 100 finalists and after going through the assessment process and judging interviews, the jury determined 40 companies to receive the 2022 ICEA awards, PT Kimia Farma Tbk is considered worthy of an award because its CSR program is in accordance with ISO 26000, SDG's and implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices which are an assessment aspect in the 2022 ICEA award. PT Kimia Farma Tbk has succeeded in building CSR that is absolutely beneficial for the achievement companies and society.
